Pepto-Bismol and Philipps have partnered to help others celebrate Cinco, even while sitting at a computer. Thanks to the pinata smash on www.youtube.com/PeptoBismol, people will be able to see Philipps’ favorite way to smash a pinata and also create their own video variations.

To create a smash, all people have to do is select the method of destruction, type of pinata and type of filling. For example, anyone who has ever wanted to see a ninja give a round-house kick to explode a unicorn pinata filled with guacamole can see that come to life and share with their friends online. Whatever the smash, consumers should be sure to grab the chips and salsa and prepare for endless entertainment with the click of a mouse.

Once people are smashed-out on the YouTube fun, the Cinco celebrations are sure to continue. Pepto and Philipps have also brainstormed ideas on how to have a great fiesta, no matter where people are gathering:

1. Enlist your musician friend to play mariachi music at your party
2. Host a “Guac-off” in your office between coworkers who insist they have the best recipes
3. Referee a Chihuahua race at your local dog park
4. Buy a handful of sombreros and teach your friends the Mexican hat dance

Philipps, who looks forward to this holiday each year, knows exactly what she’s doing to step up her party. “I am going to celebrate Cinco de Mayo by throwing a mini-themed fiesta, with several trays of mini quesadillas, mini tacos and mini burritos,” said Philipps. “And of course, I’ll be sure that Pepto has my back, ’cause knowing me, I’ll over-fiesta.”
